How to Pick the Best CS2 Crosshair

There's no single best crosshair. Visibility, size, gap, thickness and how well the shape stays readable on different maps matter more than copying a setup blindly.

Start with visibility, not looks

A crosshair only helps if you can see it clearly against the map. Test a few high-contrast colors and make sure the center stays readable on both dark and bright surfaces.

Keep the center clear

Small static crosses and compact dots are common because they give you a precise reference without covering too much of the target. Use gap and size to balance visibility with obstruction.

Test before committing

Play a few rounds with the same crosshair before changing it again. A pro setup is a useful starting point, not proof that it is the right setup for every player.
